We are looking for a Director of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising to lead the strategic, financial and operational management of the communications and fundraising teams at Family Fund. This is an opportunity to deliver the charity’s vision, strategy, values and purpose and in doing so embed a culture of organisational cooperation. Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families on low incomes raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. Last year, we provided 150,000 grants or services to families across the UK. We are continuing to adapt to the impact of Covid-19 and are doing everything we can to ensure we provide this essential grant support when it is needed the most. As Director of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising you will develop and implement the communications, marketing and fundraising strategy that together seeks to build awareness of the charity’s brand and profile and maximise fundraising potential. As part of the Executive leadership team, you will work closely with the Group Chief Executive, and Executive Directors and will lead and inspire the communications and fundraising teams to achieve and exceed their goals and strive for success. To be considered for this role you must have extensive experience in a senior communications or fundraising role in the charity sector and a huge amount of passion and determination to make a real difference to the lives of the families facing adversity. You should come to us with significant experience managing a range of communications functions or a range of income streams, however a working knowledge across both communications and fundraising is essential. You must be adept in managing budgets, project delivery, change management and people and team leadership.
