We are looking for an exceptional individual with proven supervisory experience to join our dynamic team responsible for ensuring excellence in Grants Services through the effective performance management of Grant Services Staff.

As Grant Services Supervisor you will ensure the Applications Officer team is staffed using a rota system to provide a cost effective service, utilising the available resources in the most efficient possible manner. You will provide control over quality and quantity of Grants Services activities through regular monitoring and measurement of staff performance. You will be expected to maintain an environment where staff are committed to high standards of customer service and seek to enhance this.

Along with effective performance management, other key responsibilities will include:

  • Process first level appeals and complaints relating to Grants Services.
  • Action and process discretionary awards.
  • Ensure established policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Review and update department work processes, recommending improvements and developing new processes as required.
  • Assist with reporting of information regarding work in progress to management team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and decision making skills, with the ability to work under pressure to performance targets and within a process orientated organisation. You will be a well-organised team player, flexible, adaptable and resilient to work demands and changes.
