The role As Grant Delivery Team Leader you will be responsible for leading excellence in Grant Services through effective team leadership, training, support and performance management of Grant Services Staff. You will ensure maximisation of department performance against defined key performance indicators through effective real time management. Main duties include: Be a specialist on specific grant programmes delivered by Grants Services, including assisting with set-up, process development, implementation and review and monitoring performance and reporting. Confidently undertake and present departmental operational reporting in regards to position against targets and work in progress to departmental and higher Management Team, for example weekly reporting. Process first level appeals and complaints relating to Grant Delivery. Proactively contribute to and undertake the reviewing and updating of department processes, recommending improvements and developing new processes as required. Support, manage and lead your own team of Grant Delivery Officers/Administrators and, in conjunction with other Team Leaders, ensure leadership management and support of the wider department is effective to meet department KPIs. This role would ordinarily be based at our offices in Monk’s Cross (York) however, as a result of Covid-19, you will combine home working with being office based. About you You will have experience of managing and prioritising workload for yourself and team and be able to manage conflicting and changing priorities and targets. You will also have experience of working in a process-orientated organisation. You will be able to extract relevant data from information, analyst and report on key points of interest. You should be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
