York Mini and Junior Run
Has your little one been inspired by their sporting heroes? This summer, they can take part in the York Mini and Junior Run event.
This event is open to runners aged three and up, of all backgrounds and abilities, making a fantastic day out for all the family.
About the event
The York Mini and Junior events take place on the Knavesmire on Sunday 3 August 2025 at 12:00pm.
The York Mini event is for children aged between three and eight, covering a 1.5km distance. All children must run with a parent or carer.
The York Junior event is for children aged between nine and 14, covering a 2.5km distance.
All finishers will be rewarded with a goody bag and that all-important medal to show their friends!

Entry fees start from £15 for one adult and one child for the Mini event, open to children aged three to eight years old. The Junior event is open to children aged nine to 14 years old and costs £8 per child.
