iPad summer school: DJ skills About the workshop Ever thought about writing the next number one? Using Garageband (a free app that can be downloaded from the Apple app store) we’ll explore the loops, and how we can put these together to make a piece of music. Experiment with filters and mix it live like a DJ. This workshop is part of this year’s Sumer School programme. In the workshop, we can cover: Creating a new blank song project Working with live loops to create a piece of music Auditioning and selecting Apple Loops Arranging Apple loops on the grid Performing the composition by triggering loops Adding audio from the microphone Exploring effects and mixing Sharing the finished song Book your place Join the ‘DJ skills’ workshop on Thursday 18 August 2022, 1:00pm to 2:00pm, being held online via zoom with an Apple-accredited trainer and a member of the Family Fund team.
