Enjoying the Discover Digital summer festival

We’re looking for short videos from families taking part in the festival

If either you or your child would like to, we’d love you to record a short video showing us what they’ve created, what they enjoyed, or simply telling us what taking part in the festival has meant to your family.

It doesn’t need to be polished or professionally filmed – a quick video recorded on your phone is perfect.

What could you record?

You could show:

• Your child talking about something they made
• Their finished creation
• Your child using a new digital skill they’ve learned
• A short clip of them taking part in either a live session or an activity
• Your child telling us what their favourite session was
• Or a parent/carer sharing what the festival has meant to your family

Even a video of just a few seconds could help us show the difference opportunities like this can make.

Why are we asking?

We’ll use some of the videos to help create a Discover Digital Summer Festival celebration video, showcasing the amazing things children and young people have made.

With your permission, we may also use some of the content to help demonstrate the impact of our work to potential funders and partners. This helps us make the case for continuing and expanding opportunities like this for disabled children and young people in the future.

You don’t need to appear on camera if you or your child don’t want to. You can simply film their creation or activity instead.
