Planning on a break in the UK? We work in partnership with Butlin’s, and they will be more than happy to help you arrange a break that suits your family. Your award must be used within nine months from the date on your award letter. Any funds left after nine months will be returned to Family Fund.

How to use your Butlin's grant

Talk to Butlin's about the holiday you are looking for on 0330 102 5290*. Butlin's opening hours are Monday to Sunday 9.00am-9.00pm. We recommend you contact Butlin’s seven days after receiving your award letter to check availability of your chosen dates. They will tell you the booking process and inform you of the family break options open to you.

Please note that we cannot provide a grant for a family break you have already booked or taken.

Special requirements

If you or a member of your party has special needs requirements, including mobility or access, it is essential you let Butlin’s know at the time of booking. To do this, please call their dedicated Special Needs Co-ordinators on 0330 100 9334*

Other information about your Butlin's grant

You must make a family break booking with Butlin's within nine months of receiving your family breaks grant. If a booking has not been made or if there are any unused funds at this point, these will be returned to the Family Fund.

The family break grant must include the main carer and the child that you applied for. Additional family members and/or carers can also be included in the booking.

You have two options on how to spend your grant. Up to £100 of any grant can be changed into “spend vouchers” which can be used in the shops, bars and restaurants on your chosen resort, or your grant can be kept in your account for you to use at a later date, as long as it is used within nine months. Any funds in the account after nine months will be returned to Family Fund.

You can combine your grant with marketing codes or offers direct from Butlin’s. This might be an offer on the Butlin’s website or a code you have seen online. You can’t combine your grant with third party promotions such as Tesco Clubcard or The Sun Holidays.

If you need to cancel your break please call Butlin’s to talk through your circumstances. Whatever grant value has been used on your break will be refunded back to Family Fund and held for you with Butlin’s until the nine month expiry passes. You can spend this on another break with Butlin’s during this time.
