Away in a manger the word autism was heard,

The Doctor smiled nicely, with that we were spurred.

Z’s world stayed the same way, finally reason we had,

Why our toddler loved lines and similar fads.

The meltdowns are always, the flapping exists,

But Z is still little and working on being kissed.

I love thee dear Z, let me into your head,

I’ll stay there forever, until we’re both dead.

Four years have now gone by, look how far we’ve got,

As a family we’ve grown loads, and learnt lots and lots.

Here’s to the next four years, see where we will go,

Hopefully we will make it to somewhere with snow.
