Bid Writer Salary - £29,747 Full time 35 hours per week Permanent contract As Bid Writer, reporting into the Head of Fundraising, your key responsibility will be to prepare and submit high quality grant applications and tender responses that enable Family Fund to retain and grow our service offer. As part of a new team you will develop and maintain excellent knowledge of Family Fund services and build relationships with programme managers and services managers in order to research, design, write and submit detailed applications for funds to relevant grant-making bodies. In addition to writing proposals of a high standard tailored to individual funders and meeting all necessary requirements, your other key responsibilities include: Monitoring funding opportunities and developing a clear bid pipeline Collating new proposal content to form a bid library Preparing opportunity overviews for bid/ no bid decisions Educated to degree level and with significant experience in bid writing, you have excellent research, writing and checking skills, and close attention to detail. Your influencing, writing style and exceptional document presentation skills compliment your proven ability to research and secure new funding opportunities. A first-class negotiator, listener and creative thinker, you’re a great team player, able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
