Kexgill Jump off a Bridge Prominent student accommodation provider, Kexgill, abseiled 165ft from The Transporter Bridge, Middlesbrough to help raise money for Family Fund. Kexgill chose Family Fund as their charity of the year for 2016/2017 and have since conducted a Hipster Beard Grow and now the abseil in our honour. Kexgill are an award winning company providing accommodation services to students in nine locations across the North of England for over 36 years. The team of five had clear weather while they scaled the lofty heights of The Transporter Bridge on Sunday 22nd May. Emma Colbeck, Manager of the Middlesbrough Branch said; “So far we have raised £390 through the charity abseil, with five members of staff taking part it was great fun on the day, but very scary!” Nicola Blackburn, one of the Kexgill Abseiling Team said; “It was great to do something so exciting and raise money for such a fantastic cause at the same time.” Kexgill are planning to host more activities to raise money for Family Fund throughout the year, take a look at their Facebook page for updates.
