I’m dreaming of a Cornish Christmas,

Just like ones I used to know,

In my true love homeland,

Where waves crash on the sand,

And life seemed so calm & slow.

I’m dreaming of a Cornish Christmas,

Where I felt happy & so free,

Singing carols in the village choir,

Then snuggles by the fire,

A time when it felt good to be me.

I’m dreaming of a Cornish Christmas,

‘Cos City life is just so fast,

People in a hurry,

It makes me worry,

I wish I could go back to the past.

I’m dreaming of a Cornish Christmas,

I just don’t like being in those crowds,

Everyone’s so busy,

It makes me dizzy,

And the World just seems far too loud.

I’m dreaming of a Cornish Christmas,

Whilst I just hide myself away,

I can’t go to school,

My fears break the rules,

I hope we can go back home one day.

I’m dreaming of a Cornish Christmas,

But I find it just so hard to sleep,

May our days be happy & free,

And may all our Christmases be one day by the sea.
