And thank you for all the holidays we have had through the Family Fund - we have got fantastic memories of my dad, Erin's grandad. The fun we had and the times we spent on holiday with all the family. And we benefited from the support you give us from when she was little, my first washing machine. She was a very sick baby (she had open heart surgery at seven months old), and she used to be sick all the time and had to change her clothes at least 4 times a day. So you see, the washing machine was a life saver. Thanks to the Family Fund for their support and the kindness you have given. Without you, we would not have the happy memories we have now. With your help we had a week. Even though it was just in a caravan, we had our first holiday of a lifetime... memories that we would not have if it was not for the help you have given my family. I'm a single parent with 2 disabled children, my eldest is 18. With your help you gave us those memories so when times are difficult we think about that holiday. My son has severe mental illness now - he is violent and abusive and getting worse every day - but we often talk about the caravan... so thank you from the bottom of my heart."
