Save money at Comet

The Family Fund has teamed up with Comet, one of the UK’s leading electrical retailers, to enable families to get a 10% discount from Comet using the Family Fund Comet Gift Card. This offer is open to any family who cares for a disabled child and is registered with either the Family Fund or Family Fund extra. This offer is entirely separate from our grant making.

You can use this card to buy any products from any of Comet’s stores nationwide. To order your card and buy your goods, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Decide what you need to buy by visiting www.comet.co.uk, call Comet on 08705 425 425 or visit your local Comet store.
  2. Decide how much you want to load on to the card.
    For example, to load £100 on the card you will need to pay £90 (£100 less 10% discount makes £90).
  3. Call the Family Fund on 0845 370 4080 and make the payment by debit or credit card or alternatively log on at http://www.familyfundextra.org.uk/ register as a member and go to 'Shopping extra'
  4. Comet will send out your card within five working days.
  5. Activate your card as soon as you get it, by calling 0870 607 0150 or by following the activation information given to you online. Once it is activated, you should treat your card as cash and keep it in a safe place.
  6. Use your card to buy your goods from Comet by phone or in-store.

For every Family Fund Comet Gift Card purchased, the Family Fund will receive a kind donation from Comet which will go to help further families caring for severely disabled children and young people.
