Brian Lamb today published the report of his inquiry into improving parental confidence in the SEN assessment process. The report can be downloaded here
Derek Walpole, chief executive of the Family Fund, welcomed the report, saying, “Too many parents tell us they have to battle to get their disabled children the education they are entitled to. If this report gives disabled children's parents more clout with local authorities, it’s got to be a good thing. A national helpline to guide them through the maze is a great idea.”
