It came as a huge shock to mum and dad when Logan was diagnosed at birth with Wolf Hirschorn syndrome.

This genetic chromosome disorder is very distressing and demands extra care. Mum says “Logan used to have fits before they got her medication right, it was extremely distressing.”

Because of Logan’s condition and numerous hospital appointments, the Family Fund was able to help Mum with driving lessons.

“The difference this grant has made is unbelievable,” says Mum. “Getting to hospital appointments doesn’t worry me anymore thanks to the Family Fund.”
