VOCAL - Midlothian Carers Centre‘s Parent/Carers Coffee morning with a vintage theme –
Parent carers can attend and enjoy a coffee and a cake, have the opportunity to attend a short breaks workshop by a representative of the Family Fund, as well as Cake decorating by Eskbank Cakes and, Pilates by Pulse Pilates.

Family Day for Families of Deaf Children
Ratho Climbing Arena, South Platt Hill, Newbridge, Edinburgh EH28 8AA

The Family Day, will take place on September 6th, 11am-3pm, will provide fun activities for everyone, including indoor climbing, soft play, arts & crafts, games and more!  All activities are free, except for indoor climbing. Other attractions will include:
• Information village where parents can find out about local support and projects including advice on sensory loss, health, education, equipment and the voluntary sector
• NDCS Listening Bus - the UK’s only touring information centre for deaf children & young people.
• Complimentary lunch for adults and children

ENABLE Scotland are holding a FREE event for children aged 0-8 who have additional support needs and their parents and carers. But you are welcome to bring the whole family along.
There will be a market place of information throughout the day, including a stall from the Family Fund, a benefits surgery and a chance for you to have your say about improvements of the services your family receive in the area. There will also be activities for the children throughout the day.
Saturday the 13th September, 10:00am – 2:30pm at the Beattlie School Campus, Livingston.

Come along to our support and information day to hear about what support, services, grants and information is available to you and your child or young person with a disability or additional needs.

You will have the chance to meet with a range of charities who are set up specifically to help families who are raising children and young people with disabilities and additional needs across Wales.

Learn more about Family Fund, Afasic, Mencap, Scope, Caudwell Children, SNAP Cymru, Down's Syndrome Association and Cerebra. More charities and organisations will be there on the day, so register your FREE place now.

We also welcome all those who work in statutory services with families and children who would like to meet with, and learn more about the support these charities offer.
