The Family Fund helps families with severely disabled children to have choices and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life.

We give grants for things that make life easier and more enjoyable for the disabled child and their family, such as washing machines, driving lessons, hospital visiting costs, computers and holidays.

The Fund is a registered charity, helping about 50,000 families in the UK with £28 million in grants each year.

The national governments of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales provide the Fund’s income, as part of their commitment to disabled children and young people.

'
" Thank you for the washing machine. What a difference it makes having one that works. "

" Thank you for the computer and holiday money. We will benefit especially from the computer as I am so restricted socially with the needs of my boys and I know they will benefit with their education now. "

" With your help we were able to secure a holiday at Haven and cover the cost of the boat fare to ensure our daughter has a holiday to remember. A very big thank you and happy Easter. "
